YOU YOU ARE A WINNER

Today we are living fast-paced lives. We have to deal with changes that are expected and unexpected. Nothing seems to be the same. We must pray like never before and settle ourselves to look heavenward to a God that never changes. He is searching the earth for those who are courageous and standing on their faith in Him in spite of what is happening all around them. He promises to reveal that which is beyond our human reasoning. Therefore, against seemingly unbeatable odds, we must declare that we are winners through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We must remain constant in prayer and be quick to mediate upon God’s Word. When you feel overwhelmed (and everybody does at some time or another), and maybe a bit insecure, search the scriptures, and trust the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth. True peace, security, and comfort come from the Lord. Jesus is the only answer for the world today! And, you will win because God has begun a “good work” in you, and it shall come to pass.

(Philippians 1:6)

Peace seems so hard to maintain when the storms of life are swirling all around us. But remember, we serve the Way Maker who makes a way out of no way … when there seems to be no way. Hold on because He is working it out for you. There is a place of peace in the midst of the storm just as there is an eye of calm in the center of a hurricane. We can choose to dwell on our difficulties or we can look up to the One who spoke to the storm. We can dwell in perfect peace if we keep our minds stayed on Him. (Isaiah 26:3) He desires to lead us beside still and quiet waters. Our cares, anxieties, and fears will try to block our way as we seek God, but we must cast all of our cares on Him. He loves us unconditionally. (I Peter 4:6-7) We are winners when we keep our minds stayed on Jesus.

I encourage you to allow Jesus Christ to be your salvation and hope. I encourage you to walk in holiness and to devote yourself to the Lord in every area of your life. The losses that you have suffered will be a part of your history; your past. What has made you who you are today will make you a winner. Don’t allow the enemy to steal the beautiful life that God has ordained just for you. You are an “overcomer.” (Numbers 13:30) As God moves in your life … take courage. He will “never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) Be healed and be restored. Reclaim your God-given destiny as you win every battle that Satan throws in your path.

May God’s loving kindness be with you in the daytime and may His songs of praise be with you as you slumber through the night. Renewed strength and abundant blessings await you. God, who is all powerful, will surpass your expectations. You have a priceless value to the Lord. You are not a “mere existence.” You are a gift. And, you are a winner!
